Power of the Pop-Up

2025

Just like our clients, we understand that choosing the right furniture and props for an event space can enhance or inhibit the overall look. Much in the same way that colour can impact the value of IRL experiences. Thankfully our diverse hire collection is curated with brand, PR and fashion pop-up events in mind; featuring unique shapes and colourful styles for all occasions- to meet your design brief, and set the right tone.

Whether staging for fashion retail or brand activations, our clients create unforgettable pop-up spaces. Here we spotlight a few of our recent favourites- where the power of the pop-up is undeniable.

JOY INFUSION

Fashion and jewellery brand, Tea and Tequila, created a warm and inviting pop-up shop in Soho, London; showcasing a playful arrangement of velvet modular seating, and statement tables in pink and peach.

For their launch party, our bubble-gum pink table worked as the perfect centrepiece for product display and party decor. Celebrating 10 years of success, Tea & Tequlia greeted guests not only with delicious cocktails by Batched and Picoso- but with a furniture hire palette infused with joy!

Poppy & playful furniture choices continue in the Borogodo X Maria Frering pop-up, where our blush pink modular sofa provided the perfect conversational spot for visitors. Balancing out the more maximalist seating, with burl wooden tables and natural lighting.

We also had the pleasure of visiting the space, and were warmly welcomed by Bruna from the Borogodo team.

About the pop-up event: "It's always inspirational to see our pieces in situ, and meet our clients. The choice of furniture and lighting was so fitting for the bright and colourful jewellery by Maria Frering. Simply beautiful." - Sarah, GH Senior Sales Manager

AUTHENTIC NOSTALGIA

On the other hand, British brand Duke & Dexter took a more vintage inspired approach. Here, working with Cellar Communications, a temporary retail space in Brick Lane was dressed with original 1970's leather sofas, low coffee tables and warm wooden shelving; complimenting both the rustic setting and stylish products.

About the GH hire collection: " Love all the varieties in colour, style and finishes. Really like how many pre-loved items you have as this helps add an authentic set up with clients" - Joanna, Cellar Communications

Our authentic pieces not only reflected the origins of the brand: emphasing both craftmanship, nostalgia and individuality- they also helped in shaping a unique and relaxed visitor experience.

IMMERSIVE IDENTITY

Rounding off some recent favourites: the House of Vinted townhouse was the ultimate pop-up experience for fashionistas.

At this immersive event, Vinted took over the gorgeous Adria Hotel in the heart of South Kensington; with each room spacially designed and dedicated to the wardrobes of several fashion world insiders: including, Susie Bubble, Victoria Magrath and Keiona Revlon. Here, creative production agency Wonderland worked with stylist Katie Phillips to dress luxurious individual suites in an assortment of GH statement pieces.

Journalist and blogger @susiebubble is spotted in a room dedicated to her “modern eclectic” style- expressed in whimsical colour choices and postmodern forms.

Featuring electric blue seating, bright lacquered tables and our scalloped watermelon rug.

Behind the House of Vinted concept, visitors were not only invited to browse luxury items, explore colourful rooms and get refreshments at the quirky Vinted cafe- but also engage with their own identity in relation to each curated space. As VIP guests posted mirror selfies on social media, tagged fellow influencers and shared their exclusive retail experience online, culminating in a full 360 pop-up space.
