We had an absolute blast at Set & Scene 2026. A celebration of creativity and set design across film, TV, theatre, immersive events and advertising in a one-day sell-out show!
It was a pleasure to sponsor the event, providing furniture for three main stages, and to champion prop hire and our wonderful clients during a lively panel discussion.
POPPY & POSTMODERN
Here, our poppy postmodern tables and colourful modular seating dressed the main stage for the 'Crafting the Story' discussion. GH Brand Director, Amelia Forster offered an expert look into the prop and furniture hire sector; breaking down the essential elements required to build immersive cinematic worlds.
They also discussed some current pressures; including rising costs, rents and running a business in West London, as well as the importance of human creativity in the face of AI – acknowledging that the creative industry has an incredible track-record of adapting, pivoting and rising to challenges.
Our burnt orange sofa and pistachio velvet tub chairs provided an eye-catching seating area for this bright and airy space—complemented with an assortment of circular gold coil effect metal tables in varying heights.
Our team enjoyed this journey into the world of brand product placement and the importance of objects in storytelling. Set Decorator Neil Floyd took time to celebrate the UK prop houses and their collections, as well as the emotional connection that builds over time with favourite pieces of hire furniture.
The set design for this more intimate event space featured our chubby floral blue and white sofa— flanked by capsule shape benches in playful fabrics. Cool metal side tables in powder blue and cobalt added to the eclectic mix of textures and materials.

'Schweppes – take your time'- Panellists featured: Christopher Melgram, Production Designer and Will Htay, Production & Concept Designer

Our brand new, pistachio green armchairs are a modern take on seventies space age seating. We've paired them with our brass Tom Dixon coffee table and multi square gold metal screens which typify the glamorous, geometric designs of David Hicks.
